The Tulare Astronomical Association will host a Public Star Party at the Arthur L. Pursell Observatory, 9242 Ave. 184 in Tulare. Tickets are $5 for those age 12 and older. Because it is Veterans Day, Veterans get in for free. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with a short program at 5:30 p.m., followed by an opportunity to view the planets, stars and other faint fuzzies.
