Moo Mile to Raise Funds for Meals on Wheels Program at Tulare Senior Center

The inaugural Moo Mile Race/Walk or 5K presented by the Tulare Parks & Recreation Department will be held on September 30. The event will raise awareness and funds for the Tulare Meals on Wheels Program provided at the Tulare Senior Center.
Every participant will receive a "goodie bag" and T-shirt. The first male and female Moo Mile finishers will receive an exclusive "2017 Champion" Moo Mile T-shirt. A free family mini-carnival – with refreshments – will be held at the finish of the run/walk.
The fee for the individual Moo Mile or 5K Run/Walk is $15 per person (or $18 after September 9). Online registration at apm.activecommunities.com/tulareparksandrec closes at 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 29. You can also register at the Recreation Office or by mailing in your payment to: Meitzenheimer Community Center, 830 S. Blackstone Ave, Tulare, CA 93274 (to be received by September 29).
Registration begins at 7 a.m. on the day of the race, which starts at 7:30 a.m. at Twin Oaks, 999 North M Street and ends at Zumwalt Park.
The 5K Race starts at Zumwalt Park (Tulare Avenue between M & N Streets) at 8 a.m.
