Central California Pickleball Tournament Returns to Visalia

The tournament will be held October 14-15 at the Plaza Park Pickleball Complex in Visalia.

The Central California Pickleball Tournament returns in October, hosted by the Visalia Parks & Recreation Department.

Pickleball is a fast-action sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, table tennis and volleyball. It is played on a court with a hard paddle and a Wiffle ball.

The tournament will be held October 14-15 at the Plaza Park Pickleball Complex in Visalia.

The cost is $25 per person for the registration fee, and $10 per person per event. Deadline to register is Friday, October 6.

Mixed doubles will be held on Saturday, and men's and women's doubles will be on Sunday during this two-day tournament.

The tournament format is double elimination with each match consisting of the best out of three games to 11 points, skill levels 2.5 – 5.0.

Participants will receive an event shirt. Medals will be presented for the top three places in each division.
